What to Wear to Travel Comfortably & Fashionably
The “airport” outfit is almost as important as what’s in the suitcase. Well, at least for me. The perfect travel outfit is one part chic and one part comfortable to keep it plain and simple. So, how do we achieve this fair measurement of comfy and stylish? I have a few pointers on how I achieve this myself so I thought I would share with you and spread the knowledge.
For one, shoes are the focus. I prefer to wear a clean, crisp and neutral pair of trainers when I’m traveling. For one, they are pretty easy to match with anything or any outfit I may be wearing to travel and two, they are pretty much guaranteed for comfort. Bonus point: They are easy to slip on and off once in the air and a quick put-on for landing.
My second must-have when traveling comfortably and fashionable is not only a great travel pillow but a lightweight jacket. Having a lightweight puffer jacket that is easy to pack away in a carry-on or even a tote bag is extremely convenient. Sometimes the cabin is too warm or too cold or perhaps your flight neighbor insists on keeping the air vent on, whatever the situation a light jacket is sure to fix it.
My third travel item for this essential list is a good moisturizer or facial mist. How is this fashionable? How is this comfortable? For one, hydrated skin is always in style. A moisturized face is a fresh face and a comfortable one. Plus, having dry skin that usually comes with any flight can make one very annoyed and distressed and wouldn’t you want to arrive at your destination rejuvenated instead of wearisome? Enough said.
