Swimsuits for Every Body
Summer has practically arrived so it’s time to bust out the swimsuits and bikinis or in our case hit the internet and start to shop for some new ones to hit the beach, pool and soak up the sun. For many, including us here at Style Sonata it can be daunting to find the perfect swimsuit for our body type and with so many styles it can only make it that much harder to choose. So, we came up with some easy tips and guidelines to help you find the perfect fit for your body.
When it comes to our ladies with an hourglass body figure we suggest one-piece swimsuits with a high cut leg that will highlight your curves. A halter top neck or a deep V-neck will accentuate your bust, and a ruched or belted waistline will cinch in your waist and make you a knock out at the beach. For those of you who have a more athletic or slimmer build we suggest the classic triangle top and low-rise bottom which visually adds curves and highlights your hips and waist. Try to search for bikinis with cut out detailing, ruffles or fringe to only highlight the hips more.
If you think you have a pear-shaped body type then we suggest a two-piece swimsuit but try a high waisted bottom instead of a low-waisted bottom. This will give shape to your curves by cinching your waist. For a top consider a bandeau top to complement your bust and arms. Finally, if you have an “apple” shaped frame we suggest trying a one-piece swimsuit with a deep V-neck to highlight your bust and a control tummy to complement your natural curves. Regardless of figure, frame and body type there’s literally a swimsuit for everybody and every BODY. The most important thing is that you feel confident, comfortable and happy.
