SS20 Trend: Tiered Dresses and Geometric Bags.
By the looks of things, the foreseeable future for fashion is going to be feminine, flirty with flashes of nostalgia. Last year gave us gorgeous, gala-ready tulle gowns. This year brings us tiered, statement dresses made for flitting around and frolicking with a little added drama to it all.

So our fashion story this week was inspired by these billowing beauties and we're giving you a few looks that you could easily be rocking by the weekend. And when it comes to frocks and frolicking, there are two designers that you MUST know: Simone Rocha and Cecilie Bahnsen. Their entire collection is generally eye candy.
Our go-to styling for this SS20 trend is paired up with one of our favorite accessories –– geometric shaped bags. Geometric shapes will also be heating up on the handbag scene this year, but on-trend or not, we've always loved using them when we need a little modern-chic umph to complete a look. And since we're going bold on the dress and funky on the bag, we've kept the accessories delicate with studs. Our prizm stud earrings by Third Crown is really our first pick when we want something delicate but interesting.

We love these looks for so many reasons. Anything that is both stylish and comfortable is always a plus, first of all, and these tiered dresses are comfort defined. Plus, girls just wanna have fun. All these layers and fluff are every girly-girl's dream.
Our collection of geometric-shaped bags is also one of our best curations at Style Sonata, so we love that it's making a re-appearance on the fashion radar. Our designer –– A. Rinkel, is really our go-to for anything angular. Premium leathers and quality Italian hardware are their hallmark.
So give these looks a spin. Let us know what you're loving. Drop a comment below to give us your ideas for this look.
