Fringe And Feathers
Fringe and feathers in our opinion are some of the most underrated and overlooked textures and accents in the fashion scene, which, frankly, we can understand. If styled incorrectly they can be tacky and obnoxious but if used in moderation we think they can really elevate a look. Plus, they’re so much fun and since often forgotten, they can really spice up a look and keep ‘em guessing. Check out these fringe and feather pieces that we can’t wait to wear on our next night out - or in ;).
Add a splash of feathers to your look with this satin blouse. We love the relaxed fit and the wide range of color options, but we have to say our favorite is this Hot Pink. The cuffs are lined subtly (if that’s possible to do with feathers), and it’s fit is loose but the fabric is soft and has a slight stretch to it as well. We’re wearing this for a night out with the girls and pairing it with our favorite pink moscato.
That feather boa you used to play dress-up with as a child just got an upgrade. This feather and faux fur tube top is for the woman who is over the top and unapologetic about it. Available in green, white and a lovely dusty pink, this feather tube top is an ode to the days where we’d play dress up with our Halloween costumes, but who are we kidding? We’re still playing dress up just in a more sophisticated way. We’re pairing this top with our favorite pair of high-waisted, skinny jeans and a matching pump.
Feeling glamorous at home is just as important as feeling glamorous out on the town. Or, perhaps feathers are a bit too bold of a choice for everyday wear which is where these Belle’s Design Feather Trim Silk Satin Pajamas come into play. Perfect for lounging, or a night in with friends, these pajamas are a fabulous option for any time of day. Comfort and glam always go together.
Swap your feathers for some fabulous fringe. Definitely feeding into our boho-chic obsession this jacket is a longline blazer with fringe detailing along the sleeves. We like the contrast of the formal blazer silhouette paired with the folksy fringe lining. We’d style this jacket with a black miniskirt and some over-the-knee leather boots to complete this boho inspired look.
Besides the hippies, when we think of fringe, we think of cowboys and cowgirls, but this top takes it to another level, or should we say different level altogether. This rhinestone backless top features rhinestone fringe trim that challenges any previous notions about fringe that we held before. We would say style this top with a more casual bottom such as denim, which you could do, but instead we want to go all out and style this top in white with a dramatic wide leg white pant to match and shocking pink pumps. You already made the bold choice to wear a fringe rhinestone top, so why stop there?
