Adventures in Chile | The Wine Country

Chilean wines are some of the best in the world and in the Maipo Valley they are able to grow similar style wines to California's Napa Valley. They specialize in Bordeaux's which are rich, fruity red wines. What better way to sip and savor than under a grape trellis in the warm afternoon sun.
Loved this dramatic iron sculpture at the head of the valley. It captures the feeling of the endless rows of grapes. Beautiful against the Yucca.
Loved the drama of this exotic staircase which led down into the cellar of one of the wineries.
Who could resist the romance of this charming horse drawn cart which takes visitors on a tour around the wineries. Or, the velvety noses of these brown beauties. :-)
