3 Ways To Find Your Inner Fierce

The other night in yoga, as we were twisting and bending like pretzels on a mat, my instructor said something simply powerful ... and powerfully simple. As we sunk into our poses, she said -- "if something doesn't feel right, change it." Of course, she was talking about the pose. But of course, I searched for a deeper meaning. And it got me to my central question today. How do we find peace? How do we know what to and how to change so we can "feel right"?

I say find a little moment. Breathe in. Exhale. Invite peace and love in with every breath of oxygen. You see, with peace comes a certain stillness. With stillness comes perspective. And with perspective comes gratitude. 

It's so easy to get caught up and make mountains out of molehills, without realizing our small mercies and the simple pleasures. And our frustrations and agitations only make the situation worse. So if you are stuck in a position that doesn't feel right -- balance yourself, and with peace, love and gratitude ... change it. And if that change seems scary (as change often does) these virtues will carry you through. So this morning, I want to express gratitude for family. I want to express gratitude for the the lessons learned from the challenges that made me stronger ... and the fearless spirit it created.
