Lovers of Hayao Miyazaki's films can now view tributes to the film maker at one of San Francisco's most exciting art spaces, SPOKE art. The exhibit features posters from 50 artists, giving their interpretations of the director's love of adventure and deep love of nature. The exhibit is timely given Miyazaki's portrayals of strong female characters.
With two locations, one in San Francisco’s Lower Nob Hill neighborhood and one in New York City’s Lower East Side, SPOKE Art rotates monthly exhibits with a wide variety of solo and group shows highlighting artists from all over the world interspersed with pop-up shows, conventions and art fairs. Be sure to check out their sister gallery Hashimoto Contemporary.
