A Fashionista's Approach to Fall

A Fashionista's Approach to Fall

Fashionistas Fall

We have entered Fall gracefully and shaken off the Summer sadness. This is the time to brush up on our hosting game, since we may be making some of your biggest debuts this season. And some of the most cherished events will take place right around the family-gathering, memory-making dining table. This season, we found that when it comes to adorning our tables, things aren’t really much different from adorning ourselves; the fashion world has taught us a few things that we can definitely apply with some imagination. So here are 5 ways to stylishly up the ante this Fall as you sit with friends and family to enjoy good food and libations. Then further on, you can explore our collection of Fall-favorite accessories from ruby reds, deep blue sapphires and yellow golds. Enjoy!

1. Au Natural

We've seen so many this season going for nude lips and natural barely-there make up. Let's strip down our tables this Fall and bare it all. All the experts seem to agree that natural wood is the way to go this season. Toss the good ol’ faithful table cloths and add a little glamor with metallic chargers, or place mats instead.

2. Metallics

Speaking of metallics, the perfect fall table isn't much different from your jewelry box. Metallics rule. Deep coppers and bright bronzes are your best friend. Don’t be afraid to mix and match either. You can tone it down with some natural elements.

3. Personalization

This season, many will be rocking their monogrammed, personalized chains, bracelets and handbags. Personalization rocks at the dining table too. Try adding a single stem flower at each table setting, or personalized name tags.

4. Statement Pieces

I'm sure we've heard about the magic transformational properties of the statement piece necklace or earrings. Well, this season, apply the same logic to your center piece. This time, instead of artsy, think bounty. Women’s Day suggests pulling out the burlap, votive candels, pumpkins, ornamental corn…you name it, to reflect the bounty of the season with abundant center pieces.

5. Monochromatic

Styling with monochromatic tones is one of my favorite go-to stylings. This is an easy one to replicate at the dining table. BHG advises to simply choose your favorite color and incorporate varying shades in your overall tablescape. You can use ivory and white to tone it down a bit.
