1. Describe yourself in 3 words.
Planner. Driven. Islander.
"YOU COULD SAY I'M A BIT OF A TRAVEL ENTHUSIAST."
2. Tell us a bit about the work you do and why you chose that field.
I am an aviation attorney. You could say I'm somewhat of a travel enthusiast, and perhaps this subconsciously drew me to this field. However, I'm equally in awe of the mechanics of the industry; it truly fascinates me. Having had a little experience in aviation before law school, once I graduated, it was a field I was determined to re-enter on the legal side of things. There's a lot that happens behind the scenes to "make it all happen," to keep it safe, and to maintain the accountability of its various players. I love being able to see a new side of this dynamic space.
3. Any big plans or projects for the rest of 2019?
Yes! Thanks for asking. I am currently working on a project involving an orphanage for children with disabilities -- an area I care deeply about. My goal is to make donations of some priority items to the orphanage before the year has ended, and I am now smack dab in the middle of organizing it all.
"GO FOR IT. GIVE IT YOUR ALL. YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY DO IT."
4. What advice would you give to your 15-year old self?
Go for it. Give it your all. You can absolutely do it.
5. Best advice you ever received?
“Always put your best foot forward.”
"HAPPINESS IS ABOUT TRULY ENJOYING YOUR LIFE AND BEING AUTHENTIC ABOUT THAT."
6. Happiness is …?
Peace - with yourself and your life. It’s about truly enjoying your life and being authentic about that.
7. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Negativity. Let’s strive to speak positive things in our lives and about our achievements.
8. Describe your go-to style.
This is such a tough question. It all depends on my mood. Sometimes I like a pop of color -- other times I feel for a simple get-up paired with a head-turner pair of heels. Some occasions call for something fitted and flirty, but I also adore flowy dresses. Then there are those days when it's all about comfort -- a hooded sweater and sweats are my go-to ... but make it fashion of course :-).
9. You feel most beautiful when …?
All... The… Time. *Flips hair* Bloop! Ha! ;)
"[FASHION] IS A FORM OF ART. MOVING ART...IT IS SUCH AN IMPORTANT EXPRESSION OF INDIVIDUALITY."
10. What does fashion mean to you?
It’s a form of art. Moving art. An expression of who we are, who we want to be, how we feel or how we want to feel. It is such an important expression of individuality.
~ The End ~
