Use These 3 Tips Now

This summer there are three styles that I predict everyone, and their grandma will be wearing. I’ve been noticing on Instagram, TikTok as well as every fashion publication from Vogue to Harper’s three distinct summer styles that I think are going to absolutely takeover this summer 2022. For one, we have to acknowledge the Y2K fashion phenomenon. I think that the early 2000s trends are going to only get trendier and trendier as summer goes on. Butterfly tops, miniskirts and low-rise jeans are only going to flourish this summer.

Next, I think that matching sets are going to have a real big moment this summer. Matching tartan skirts and cropped blazers to match and silk maxi skirts paired with silk button-up are especially going to take center stage everywhere from the brunch tables to the festival lawns. I think that people are really into coordination as well as texture this summer as well. My final summer style prediction is that neon is going to have a comeback as well. I think that a neon accent piece such as a bag or a pair of sunglasses is going to be seen in both the Y2K fashion and the minimalist matching sets as well. I have already said that as far as makeup goes, bright eye makeup is going to be very popular and that’s only going to overflow into fashion as well.

What other trends do you want to see emerge this summer? Between the early 2000s fashion, matching sets and neon color choices, I think it actually seems like a pretty tame summer and I’d personally like to be shocked by something completely new and never done before, but that’s just me. Which. Trend is your favorite?
