#1: Santa Barbara

The perfect place for a romantic getaway—or even just a weekend trip—Santa Barbara is home to some of California's most beautiful beaches and parks. The city offers great food options as well as many other activities like biking or surfing lessons should you feel so inclined! And if you're feeling adventurous enough to stay overnight in one of their bed & breakfasts? You might just find yourself falling even more in love with this seaside town than ever before!
#2: Monterey
For those who love nature, Monterrey offers an incredible outdoor experience with hiking trails, fishing holes, and even camping options! You'll feel like you're in another world when you visit this hidden gem of California. Monterey is home to several great beaches too, including Pacific Grove Beach and Carmel Beach. If you want something more active than just kicking back on sand, check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium or one of their many other attractions (like Cannery Row).

Bonus: Santa Cruz has a great bike trail system, so you can easily explore the area by bike! This is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and it's just 2 hours away from Sacramento. Lake Tahoe is known for its breathtaking views and pristine waters—and it doesn't disappoint! You'll want to bring your camera along on this adventure because there are so many Instagram-worthy spots around the lake. Lake Tahoe is also home to some pretty awesome events like concerts at Lake Tahoe Community College or festivals like Rock The Ridge .And did we mention there are plenty of places to eat? You won't go hungry here! —You'll be blown away by how gorgeous it is!

You probably already know about how awesome San Francisco is, but did you know that it's also close to some great parks and beaches?
This city is full of history and culture and has tons of things to do: ride bikes through Golden Gate Park or visit Alcatraz Island (just make sure you book your tickets in advance).
One more thing that San Francisco is known for, it's its amazing food scene—and there's no shortage of restaurants where you can try local fare while enjoying spectacular views of the city skyline or Golden Gate Bridge. And don't forget about Fisherman's Wharf! You'll never get tired of walking around this part of town and taking in all the sights and sounds.
