#1: Santa Barbara
The perfect place for a romantic getaway—or even just a weekend trip—Santa Barbara is home to some of California's most beautiful beaches and parks. The city offers great food options as well as many other activities like biking or surfing lessons should you feel so inclined! This is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and it's just 2 hours away from Sacramento. Lake Tahoe is known for its breathtaking views and pristine waters—and it doesn't disappoint! You'll want to bring your camera along on this adventure because there are so many Instagram-worthy spots around the lake. Lake Tahoe is also home to some pretty awesome events like concerts at Lake Tahoe Community College or festivals like Rock The Ridge .And did we mention there are plenty of places to eat? You won't go hungry here! —You'll be blown away by how gorgeous it is!

You probably already know about how awesome San Francisco is, but did you know that it's also close to some great parks and beaches?
