Summer Manicure Trends
Just as we switch up our hair color and wardrobe for summer, we shall do the same for our manicures. Luckily it’s easier to switch out a manicure each week as opposed to completely changing our tresses and we have the scoop on the manicure trends that are going to be hotter than summer this season.
The french tip manicure is going to be one of the nail trends we see making a big comeback this summer. Much like Carmela Soprano, we are embracing this 90s/2000s nail style. It’s simple, clean and classic and looks great on everyone as well as short nails and longer acrylics.
It seems like lavender is the nail color to have this summer and we like that it’s not your typical neon shade of green, yellow or orange. Lavender is a great complementary color for any look, hair color and skin tone and certainly our favorite pastel shade.
Straying away from minimalist manicures, we have been seeing the rise of maximalist nails. Gems, charms and anything that glitters and is gold will be making a big impact on manicures and if you’re into acrylic nail art then you are way ahead of the game but right on track for summer.
