Style Alert Gems
Spring 2023 has arrived, and with it comes a whole new set of jewelry trends to look out for. Whether you prefer classic styles or more modern looks, there's something for everyone in this season's jewelry trends. So, get ready to update your collection with some fresh and exciting pieces for the new season. Check out what we’re shopping to update our jewelry collection for spring 2023.
Pearls
Pearls are making a comeback in a big way. Look for statement pieces with oversized pearls or delicate necklaces with small, dainty pearls. We’re excited to style this classic jewelry piece in a modern way. We want to take layers of pearls in all different lengths, styles and shades and have fun layering in an excessive way. We also want to balance out the traditional vibe to these stones and pair them with tops like strappy camis and tube tops which feels just right for spring.
Chunky Chains
Bold, chunky chains are in style for both necklaces and bracelets. These pieces make a statement on their own or can be layered with other pieces for a more dramatic look. Chunky chains may seem like a more maximalist accessory but we like how versatile these pieces can be. Wearing a mid-size chain as a necklace in silver gives a more minimalist energy and gold feels more flashy and dressed up. Playing around with styling different chain styles, lengths and weights can dramatically change your look and we’re happy to see this style making a resurgence.
Hoops
Hoop earrings are a classic style that never goes out of fashion. This season, look for oversized hoops with unique designs, such as twisted or textured metals. The great thing about hoop earrings is how they instantly elevate any look. We can be in our sweatpants and dingy sweatshirt but as soon as we throw on a pair of hoops we feel instantly put together and ready to conquer the world. If you have multiple ear piercings then we suggest having fun with layering different hoop sizes and widths.
Gems
Our last trend to watch is gems. This spring, colored gems are all the rage. Look for pieces with vibrant gems like emerald, ruby, and sapphire, or opt for something more subtle with soft pastel colors like pink and blue. Also keep an eye out for crystals as well. Crystals like rose quartz and red carnelian which each have properties that promote self confidence and self love. A more holistic approach to jewelry that promotes a positive self concept? We’ll take it.
