Rainy Days
In recent days the rainy weather has not been one of my favorites, however, something that I cannot deny is that these days are perfect to clear my mind. Although, it is true that the rhythm of life has changed during the last almost two years, even so, my head is always full of things.
That's why I like to make the most of these moments… standing in the rainfall floods me with soft memories of trying to warm up by drinking my favorite drink ... Creamy Mayan Hot Chocolate .... Should I share this precious recipe with you? I’m feeling very generous today and so I think I will.
Ingredients
1/2 cup cooked butternut squash (the secret)
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 ounces baking chocolate broken in half
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
pinch nutmeg
pinch cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons raw honey
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Put all ingredients, except vanilla, in a double boiler and heat on medium, stirring constantly until the chocolate is melted.
