Easy Ways To Refresh Your Workspace
Many of us have returned to the office for our work and many of us are still working remotely at home. One thing that both of these groups have in common is that there comes a time when a bit of workspace refreshment is needed. I want to share with you some easy ways that I breathe life back into my workspace and these are guaranteed to freshen up your office whether it’s at home or on-site.
First, I like to make sure that my space is well organized. I remember when I was young, I had to always clean my room before I could even think about doing homework. Nothing has changed. I suggest in investing in decent bins, file holders, folders and containers so that every pen, notepad and document has a home. I. also like to color coordinate as well so keep in mind a palette that you won’t mind seeing every day.
Next, I like to make sure that there are personal touches that represent me. Framed pictures of friends and family that match my chosen organizational color palette add personalization to my space and something pleasant to look at while I work. Another refreshment tip is to add fragrance to your space. If I’m working from home I like to light my favorite scented candles to help me focus on my tasks at hand. If you’re in the office I would suggest a diffuser and to strategically choose essential oils that promote focus, energy and de-stressing.
My final tip is to always keep cleansing wipes for your desk handy. As well as lotion, hand sanitizer and even a spare perfume just in case. The wipes for your desk should have a fresh scent and you can use them before work and after and are great for coffee spills. The lotion, sanitizer and perfume are great to keep you fresh and spry to produce the best work possible.
Give these a try and let me know how they worked out.
