Beautiful Tech Support
Did your mother or grandmother ever think that technology would play such a huge part in beauty like it does today? We don’t even think we could have anticipated how much tech would influence beauty but here we are! From LED masks and electric skin tightening handheld devices, it seems like there is a device for every beauty concern you can think of. It’s a bit overwhelming to approach but with a little help from us, we thought we could tackle beauty tech together. Check out our curated list of beauty tech items we’re adding to our regiment and routine ASAP and let us know if you’ll be doing the same.
If you have Instagram, TikTok or even just a phone and a pair of eyes and ears then you’ve probably heard of our first item. The NuFace Trinity Starter Kit is the latest and apparently greatest facial toning device that’s dominating the beauty market right now. Using small electric currents to accentuate and tone both short term and long term your cheekbones and jawline the NuFace toning device has been working wonders. We love this device not only because it actually works but also because it's so easy to use. We started by using this device 2-3 days per week and worked our way up to the suggested five times a week and we were left with lifted cheekbones and an insanely chiseled and defined jawline. It’s giving Angelina Jolie and facelift all in one tiny and convenient device.
Another tech device for beauty we have been hearing a lot about are LED facial wands. LED light therapy has recently been proven to have amazing benefits for our skin. LED facial wands and facial masks help to increase collagen production in the skin which as a result reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Essentially, LED therapy helps to slow down the visible aging process. It also helps with other skin issues like eczema, acne, hyperpigmentation and scarring. This SolaWave 4-in-1 Facial Wand and Renew Complex Serum Bond is our (and the internet's) top pick for a light therapy wand. In just as little as two weeks of using this wand we saw reduction in fine lines, puffy eyes, and even our dark circles were lighter. We also really like the serum that’s included in this kit; using aloe vera and hyaluronic acid our skin is left feeling refreshed, moisturized and hydrated. It’s also a great tool for travel since it’s so small and it comes with a convenient charger and lasts for 12 uses after fully charging.
Our final beauty tech tool which also has us in a chokehold is this L&L Skin Facial Massager from The L&L Skin Store. It’s kind of like combining the NuFace and SolaWave Wand in one magical device but maybe even better. So, what does it do? It uses hot and cold temperatures to help better absorb your skincare products which allows our faces and necks to really be saturated with all of the ingredients our products provide. It also helps with anti-aging and reduction of pre-existing wrinkles by using the cold temperature function which tightens pores and calms and repairs the skin as well. By using this device daily and massaging your neck and face you can also eliminate double-chin syndrome, improve skin’s elasticity, reduce dark circles and prevent fine lines and wrinkles. You can even use this device on other parts of your body like your shoulders and underarms as well. This kit is complete with the toning device, a charger cable, cleansing cloth and device stand.
Technology and beauty. Looks like these two go together like Ross and Rachel or in this case like LED light therapy and hyaluronic acid. What do you think about technology and beauty becoming more and more all the rage these days? Let us know which of these products you’ll be trying and how they worked for you. Happy skincare-ing!
